Donnan files for labor commissioner

Mary Fant Donnan of Winston-Salem filed today as a Democratic candidate for state Commissioner of Labor.
Donnan is the third Democrat to file for the position so far. Other Democrats to file are Robin Anderson of Cary and Ty Richardson of Middlesex.
Cherie Berry, the incumbent, is the only Republican candidate to file for the job.
Fant Donnan is a program officer with the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, a charitable foundation established in 1936 as a memorial to the youngest son of the founder of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company.
